Active Mode

To activate alerts and other proactive assistance for your team, switch a channel to Active Mode.

In Active Mode, Frame will ensure every conversation has an owner — and that the owner resolves the conversation by closing the frame. (Use /frame to close the frame, or press "Close Frame" when you get the inactivity reminder.)

Use /frame to switch the channel to Silent Mode.

To add agents to your team, go to a DM with @frame, enter /frame, press Team Members, and do one or more of the following:

  • Select specific users
  • Add email pattern (e.g., *
  • Add email address (e.g., [email protected])

To manage integrations or activate on-call alerts, backup alerts, and away messages, use /frame in DM with @frame.
